I prefer Nico Minoru or Nebula to Silver Sable, but that's not to say that they are stronger, just that I like them more.
Also keep in mind, That Agent Venom is truly making low power disruptive 1-costs more deadly, in that not only to they garnish their effect, but are closing the differential power in lanes by 2. Dropping 1/4 cards with other enhancers has revamped many of these sub-archetypes, Bounce, Zoo, etc.
Is she balanced, yes, is she and many other strong 1-costs benefiting from Toxin, Agent Venom and others for sure.
Shadow King, Luke Cage, Kilmonger, Cosmo.
I get it, people don't want to have to change their decks to counter what is popular right now but that's how these metas work. If you see a lot of Sable and it's annoying your deck, you probably shouldn't be playing that deck right now. But to say there's not many ways to play around it is simply not true.
I'm talking about her on reveal ability. Cosmo is 3-cost and you'll never use to counter a Silver Sable. all your "suggestions" are irrelevant because they can't interact with her on reveal.
yeah, I've seeing quite a few Bounce / Black Swan decks with Agent Venom recently. their turn 6 are explosive. still trying to figure out how place my cards correctly so they get priority on turn 6, for a cheeky Killmonger lol.
Cosmo can stop her if she is not played on Turn 1/2(/3 if you don't have priority). Shadow King takes away her extra power and reduce her back to 1/1 (but he will do that to your cards too, except the Ongoing ones). Luke Cage gives back the stolen power to your card(s). They are all solutions, and usually they fit into many decks.
The main strength of Agent Venom is amping up Iron man decks to silly numbers.
He is great for Bounce decks too. A Bishop who starts at 4 power instead of 1? Or a Kitty Pryde? Hood? Even Cassandra Nova?
Sure, Iron Man is the cherry on top for a some Agent Venom decks. I prefer the move version, as it takes a bit more thought.
Its less about thought and more about Iron man being good vs shadow king and cosmo.
