Okay, how the hell is this guy supposed to work? I just tried to activate him on turn 2 and was told "no target", and nothing happened. Is this a bug? What could possibly be his target?

he can only draw cards that did not start in your deck, meaning they were suffled in your deck during the game. thor's hammer, for example.

Activate: draw a card from your deck that didnt start there.

as it says, you draw a card that was not in your deck originally when you activate. so like Arishem generated cards, thanos stones, rocks, hammers, etc.

any card that was not the base 12 cards when you made your deck

Eitri does not generate cards. So added rocks, thanos stones, other card generators, etc. is what Eitri works with. It's not like he'll just pull a random card out of thin air

No.

It has to be cards that didn't start in your deck. Negative just swaps the cost and power of your cards, they still started in your deck.

Has to be cards like Thor's/Beta Ray Bill's hammer/axe. Could be stones put into your deck by Rock Slide, could be any card created by Arishem or Thanos and his infinity stones.

Eitri targets for example:

Thors and Beta Bills hammers,
Thanos stones
Any card generated by Arishem
Vibranium from vibranium mines
etc
