Then he played Mystique who copies the last ongoing card, which seems to have been Onslaught, so she also was doubling Iron Man so he goes from 4x to 6x.
But then she's also doubling Onslaughts effect of doubling other ongoing, so now Onslaught is doing 4x the effect of other ongoing cards. Which is affecting Mystique because she's also Onslaught after copying him, an ongoing card . So it's just a ping-pong affect of them doubling each other over and over, as well as Iron Man. Which then results in an absolute metric frick ton of power. This is nothing though, had he done some Tribunal shenanigans he could easily get the numbers to clip off the board lol
I didn't know that high a score is even possible. I've played a long time and this is the highest score I've ever seen an opponent get against me
our board says:
8 * 2 ^ X = 512
8 = your score
*2 = ironmans effect
^X = total number of ironman activations
so how many ironmans are there???
onslaught means each ongoing effect +1.
only ironman would basicly turn onslaught into a 2nd ironman
( o = i ; if there is no other ongoing effect )
with mystique, onslaught is ironman and mystique simultaniusly
( o = i + m ) but mystique also is onslaught ( o = m )
now letz desolve that
8 * 2 ^ ( i + o + m ) = 512
and only look at the brackets
i + o + m = X ( first replace onslaught ) o = i + m
i + ( i+m ) + m = X ( now replace mystique the same way ) m = o + i
i + ( i+ ( o+1 ) + o+i = X ( n now that mystique is gone, our other equation is true ) o = i
i + ( i+ ( i+i ) + i+i = X ( simple counting
6i = X
so Ironman + onslaught + mystique is the same as if you had 6 ironmans in that lane.
8 * 2 ^ ( 6 ) = 512
you would have to explain how to get from multiplication to exponentiation
so letz say you had a turn 7 and played yet another onslaught?
would it be 8^4? (4,096) spoiler: No, the result is way higher
I had a maximum of 229M power on one location. 1500 is nothing. I have the screenshot on my profile.

edit:
wait, I forgot a 715M one...

those are artifical matchs
[edit] there you go pal
Nope, both were legit. I did the screenshots because I was highly amused about the game's mathematics.
Super-Skrull and Mystique copying Super-Skrull can have absurd results, if both player are playing them.
