Like yeah they probably should nerf him but the same can be said for plenty of other cards as well.
Really there’s plenty of ways around Gorr, and all that’s necessary is one
Here another mega-noob, if you suffer against Negative play Mobius, problem solved.
Second.
Gorr's numbers are not that substantial in the small sample size to warrant a change.
The Mr. Negative Decks you are speaking of average around 56.9% win rate, which is not that substantial compared to other meta deck percentages. He is simply being tried out a lot in the game for a NEW test card introduced.
The Card itself operates at a 48.7% win-rate when drawn. It is a when played card, situational and operating at 56.1% and dropping. Why, because players are adjusting to his mechanic. I have not seen him much at the top, but I have in Conquest and it struggles against non ON reveal decks and tech cards.
My guess, is they will monitor the card for a bit. See where his analytics settle in a week of so. They want this card selling, so ANY adjustment could come to other FREE cards before they decide to tweak Gorr and if they do it will be very subtle. I do think its an overreaction and as I always say players do adjust.
They want these new cards selling and this is a big RIVALS month for them.
I did warn when I gave my assessment to Gorr that he would see a ton of play because of the Rivals month coming. They will have to be careful here with WONG, because they are flooding the game with more stronger ON Reveals and though he has plenty of counters. You have to be careful that accumulation of powerful On Reveal effects become problematic with Wong or without.
I think SD is getting into a little bit of a bind where key tech cards are beginning to rise in massive usage where you are seeing Shang Chi, Cosmo, Red Guardian, Shadow King rise in usage in the game.
We will see in the last OTA for the year what they have in mind, but I do not see him changing for now. Peace
