mr negative + gorr is a bit much
mr negative was a pain before. I get that it requires a lot of luck to pull off. But now with gorr- it is a bit much. In just a turn an opponent can put down multiple six/five cost cards. Gorr, Ironman, etc. And can go from having 0 to having over 30 in each location. While I don't think it is 'OP' as it requires a lot of luck. It's what I would call a 'Not fun' or 'Exodia' mechanic. Where your opponent can beat you out of nowhere. And you will not know until the last turn. In a game like snap where 'Snapping' is a big part. Not being able to predict the outcome at all makes it super difficult. Does the opponent have gorr, ironman, wong, sage, etc all in their hand and are about to get 30+ in all their locations? The usual counters like cosmo, Red Guardian, etc do not work because there is no time to counter as it all takes place in one turn. If luck is on your side, you might be able to put down an alioth.

Been having a lot of luck against it by playing Tribunal; a combination of Skrull, Mystique and Onslaught often works, because even if they have Super Skrull, too, it doesn't Onslaught itself.

I'm almost sure Gorr will be berfed soon, maybe on the next OTA. I guess it could be "Ongoing: +1 Power for EACH On Reveal card in play." with his power raised from -1 to 2 or 3.

Mobius, you slap that card down on turn 3 or 4 heck even 5 and you win instantly

Maybe. But the thing is to draw the high cards after you play mr. negative. all drwan before are wasted.

A lot of luck to pull off? Lol in the diner almost every negative deck was ramp on 2 and negative on 3.

I personally think its scripted draws as nothing else can explain it, but if not then apparantly its very easy to pull off as most people seem to do it judging from the opponents I faced in diner.

Literally just put super skrull, rogue, or enchantress in your deck. You win.
Put in mobius, they cannot play mr negative. You win.
Put in cosmo, they cannot abuse wong, mystique, etc. You win.

Mr negative is so easy to counter. Any one of the cards I mentioned can instantly turn the game for you. More than one and the negative player cannot compete.

LOL at everyone suggesting super skrull, rogue, enchantress. Imagine wasting 3 card slots just to counter a single deck.

honestly, mr. negative decks so "all-in" (like hela decks are) that I never bothered building against it. I just retreat the moment they ramp to a t3 mr. negative or t4 mr. negative then t5 mighty thor.

Negative is actually quite consistent. All you need is ramp or Magic on first three, and Negative on four. The biggest fail point is that you have too many of your zero-power cards in hand.

OP, it is easy to know when you should retreat. It they played Negative and Jane Foster, you should retreat, unless your deck is built to beat this combo. Which it should not be, as control is in a bad place right now. Too many different decks around built to deploy a lot of power, can't hope to counter them all.

-ve has always been a pain
The only thing that stopped him was draw issue (from your end, cuz the opponent will always get him by t3/t4) and when mmm and super skrull were meta
Make mmm cost 2 ffs, they even nerfed wave to a tolerable state
