So you don't know how to infer from your original, "You shouldn't be punished for doing better than your opponent."? Clearly you do since you purposely cut out my first paragraph to try and make it look like my paragraph 2 & 3 are irrelevant and non sequitur to the entire conversation of this thread while mocking you.
This game isn't just about who can get bigger numbers faster, its also who can slow down the other person from doing so.
It's one thing to be ignorant or lazy to properly defend or do a last round sneak attack. It's another, you, to be upset that the game should only be, "nUmBeR. gO. Up. i hAvE. BiGgeR. nUmBeR. tHaN. YoU, sO. i wIN.'' And it's not.
Ya you are right, it should be a way and it is when techs aren't played. I don't have Shang Chi in my combo decks and I think it's fun sometimes when they don't either and we just both play and see who can combo best (of course with some prayers to RNGesus).
The game is about bigger numbers than the other person but it isn't only about 1 bigger card in 2 lanes to win.
Rogue, Echo...
tribunal is one of the most telegraphed decks in the game. Just like invisible woman+modok+hela
If I play Armor to one lane, and Cosmo to another? My opponent knows I'll be stacking on those lanes. They will know that my deck won't have a lot (if any) On-Reveal cards. They will know I will probably play something big in the Armor lane. They also know I'm unlikely to play to the lane without either Cosmo or Armor. Which they can assume they'll get for free.
So, they know all kinds of information about my deck. It's all been projected. Especially so since I have a low collection level. (Currently 724.)
I took your advice. I built a deck with Cosmo/Armor. It's easily one of the worst I've ever made. No wins. Not one.
As far as priority? I already explained myself. But I'll provide a different take.
I consider priority. However, my opponent is also considering priority. Which means I can't always control what they'll do. They might play something to take control. Or they might not. I don't know.
All I can do is look at the current round's priority, and then make a decision based on that. I cannot predict what it will be next round. Also, I'm pretty sure the starting priority is random.
I hope this shows I do have a grasp on the basics, an understanding of card games, and I'm not "crying". I'm merely explaining how I can't make what you said work. If that makes you rage? I don't know what else to say.
If your strategy dies to Shang on six, then it's trash. Simple. Unless, of course, you are at a low collection level and can't build what you want. Then, all you can do is collect more cards.
If you don't win any games, it means your deck is simply not good; maybe you don't have good synergies between your cards or your strategy doesn't provide enough power. Armor and Cosmo will also help your opponent, not only you, so they also can play their big cards there.
There are good decks out there which are built using low pool cards. Right now the best thing you can do is gathering credits, upgrading cards, and opening caches. Spend you keys wisely; this week you can grab Hope Summers and Nico Minoru, both are very good cards to have.
