Use English. Wtf does that even mean?
I covered this in a tread called "archetypes", you can search for that tread.
I broke down with SD's assistance the current statuses of the 6 MAIN archetypes, and the floating 14 Sub-archetypes at the time with percentages of how each archetype does.
There are now 16 Sub-archetypes as they will add more, 'Activate" and stealth coming.
To do well in this game you must
1. Deck recognize knowing all the outs to a certain archetype
2. Understand there is no balance to the archetypes that some are stronger than others
3. That in time, each archetype will have so many cards that no two decks will look the same.
Discard counts on "On Reveal" primarily and that has counters. High Meta do not need deterrents to other archetypes, they simply play archetypes that can match other archetypes or are stronger than that archetype.
I would suggest altering your deck constructs or play deck constructs that manage discard easier.
Currently in the Meta in the top 20 decks, only one is discard
Budget Discard at 63% win rate at 13th
There are three main types of Discard decks, with variant subtle changes to each.
Dracula/Modok -Budget Discard, Modok Strong Man, Morbis Rules (these type of hybrid builds)
Hela Discard-Lowjaw Hela, Hela Power, Total Recall (these type decks)
Energy Discard- Glaive Rules, GR Glaive, Glaiv'es Gambit (these type decks)
Not even Moonknight/Gambit decks are even in the meta
understanding what these decks do is the key to beating them.
The ranting here tells me either the OP is new or inexperienced against these decks and that is ok. Good community here that can help.
Try playing an archetype that can handle Discard with ease.
Midrange Sandman
Kate's Leech
Thena Rules
Surfer Shang
Thanos' Power
Arishem Loki
Arishem Evo
Cosmo Negate
Lockdown
Junk
Destroy
Blob to Hawk
Grey's America
Prio
Plenty of decks and strategies that obliterate Discard. Best way to defeat any archetype is to learn it inside out. Peace
When I play the deck I get one of those, 2 on a good day, but my opponents ALEAYS get all 3. (Durrr just luck durrr)
There's no real counter either. People say Cosmo lmfao you will pretty much NEVER have prior against Discard because their cards have the best statlines, and so they just dodge the Cosmo lane. Even if you do snipe, they just switch lanes. Its not like a Wong deck where they rely on the Wong lane.
Dracula is neutralized with Red Guardian or simply killed by Lady Deathstrike. You can also clog them with Goblins, Acid Arrow from Kate Hawkeye, Debrii, Viper, Annihilus...
Of course, you can't edit your deck mid-match so thats absolutely worthless.
Secondly, nobody is building an entire deck just to counter one deck. Nobody is taking mid-range cards like Lady Deathstrike. Red Guardian is the only meta one there which people might slot into their decks.
But again, you cant change decks mid game.
We all know what counters what. I dont know why some people throw out a list of all technical counters (even if some arent very good) as if that solves anything. You can list counters for every problematic card in snap.
Og Blob? Shang Chi and Shadow King
Og Alioth? Just throw in cards with big stats to maintain priority.
Og Red Hulk? As bove, shang Chi and Shadow King
You can list counters to most cards, it didnt stop them from being overpowered.
Discard really isn't that great at the moment.
