Why this card so powerful against many RLY STRONG heroes? Is this in the setting of the Marvel Universe?

He is discussed on these boards on a regular basis.

He is the most played card in the game, and not even close stat wise and their problem to fix. They have placed themselves in a box with Shang Chi, and he has plenty of counters.
Tired of discussing him, (with respect my friend, not hostility).
What they keep adding, makes Zabu and Shang Chi even more relevant in the game by the day. You have 20 cards coming the next 3/4 months that may address Shang Chi, or force their hand on his constant usage. He is out of control in that one aspect. Players are too dependent on him, but I do not blame them base on what they have created.

I'll never understand all these meta decks which have a 10 power card and nothing to protect it.

I can't remember the last time I played a 10+ power card and had it left standing by the end of the game (outside of stealth dropping on the last turn).

Not only does everyone have Shang Chi, but everyone draws Shang Chi. Always.

I consider any card 10+ power just a waste of energy unless you bring some good protection for it.

Worse is locations like Monster Island, Gamma Lab, and a few others which are just free wins for anyone carrying Shang Chi.

I don't understand why so much hate is thrown at Alioth and not this card. To me they're playing the same role, it's just a card you throw down on turn 6 and win.

I mean dracula is likely to be targetted hard by red guardian tech since discard is the 2nd best deck in the game. So I see Zabu taking alot of stray bullets from that alone. At least in theory. I dunno what if anything that will do to shangs play rate though. Outside of making people pay the full 4 cost more often.

I mean, playing multiple 10 power cards in one lane is often just bad play and asking to be shang'd. Part of playing a game like this is asking yourself. What if they shang? And playing accordingly.

ist not about a bad playing, its about imbalance. Why one card can kill all 10 card in one position.

I mean I can turn off all your ongoings in one lane with enchantress as well if you stack them there with an ongoing deck like living tribunal. I agree that shang is a bit too good and probably should cost 5 like valk. But I don't think he should be limited to one kill in a lane.

Because something else imbalanced in the game made you confident enough to play multiple 10-power cards in one position, and something like that should be countered.

Like, y'all understand how annoying it is that so many people in this game are just playing constant energy gain + cost cutting + digging tools to play as many 10+ power/6-cost cards as possible? And then have the gall to complain about Shang in one lane?

If it were up to me, I'd have Shang reach into every Hela player's hand and snipe every 10+ power card they're holding onto. The Shang hate is downright goofy.

Shang chi is made to handle the players that just stack high cards ;)

Shang Chi with the power of the ten rings turns him into a formidable superhero with superpowers. In his movie he destroyed a giant soul stealing dragon and in his comics I believe he slayed another huge dragon too so it makes sense that he is one of the proverbial giant/dragon/beast slayers of marvel snap!
