Death card bugged?

I'm destroying cards and Death is staying at 8 cost. Not every game, but like half of them. This just started today. Any idea what's going on?

its called mobius

Mobius has to be in play for his ongoing ability to be active, right? He wasn’t in play.

Screenshots are your best friend in cases like this. Just my opinion it's far easier to sort out what is or isn't happening when we can see your entire board state.
