is it better to buy a 1k series 3 cards or 3-6k series 4and 5 cards in tokken shop

So i am new to marvel snap i am at 1400 lvl i dont have most of the series 3 cards. I was wondering is it better for me to save up some tokkens and get series 4 and 5 cards that are good or do i just spent them on series 3 cards?
i got mister negative and jane but i dont think its good to play it without ravona or zabu(i rly wanna play negative tho).And a lot of cards from series 4-5 that am interested are wont be coming to spotlight caches at lest for another month.
so wat would u suggest ?

Series 3 are obtained via increasing Collection Level, so spending 1K tokens on each is not a wise idea. Sooner or later you'll get them all
I am level ~5000, and I've just got the last card like couple days ago, so it's gonna be a long trip
Worst part is you can't control which card you're gonna get for your tokens, so eh, it's just gambling whether you're gonna get Mystique or Master Mold
Also, you can choose one free S3 card monthly, so it's gonna be way easier to get exact card you really want from that pool

Series 5 cards are surely powerful, but they are also really expensive asking 6K tokens on each. If it's something really powerful like Aliot or Loki or Miss Marvel, then shoot, it's gonna pay off soon enough

Other than than I feel like series 4 cards are the best option to buy with tokens because they take half as much tokens as series 5, but they're still quite powerful

You should also consider that both series 4 and series 5 are in the spotlight caches, and it's gonna hurt way more if you'll spend 6K tokens for S5 card just to open the same very card in the cache and get a 1K refund for it rather than spending 3K and getting 1K for a possible dupe

Never spend anything on s3 cards. You get them all for free.

Probably S4/S5. I wouldn't recommend wasting too many tokens on S3 cards are you will get them eventually.

I think the best way to play for a newcomer, is to look at what cards you do have, and then build a strong deck around that - If you think you would enjoy playing that deck.

So in this example you have told us you have Mr Negative and Jane Foster. That's a good start. I would save tokens for Zabu or Ravonna (Zabu is stronger/more flexible overrall) as they're only 3k tokens and will elevate this deck for you. Then try to use your monthly free Series 3 pick to grab a card which will fit into this deck. Wong or Mystique would be a great choices if you don't have them already since Mystique works with Negative Iron Man, and Wong enables all sorts of powerful combos.

Thats what I did. I got Destroy cards like Venom early in my collectors reserves and I had a lot of other destroy cards already. So I saved spotlight keys for Knull, grabbed Death as a free series 3 and I had a full and strong deck built from that.

don't they still do the monthly free S3 card, you should pin only the ones that build your negative deck

i'm guessin zabu will be spotlight offer again, you can make do with psylocke until then

don't spend token on s3 cards, if you're in it for the long haul u'r gonna regret it
