What happened to Card Acquisition from Collector's Reserves?

Did Spotlight Caches replace the Collector's Reserves for new cards?

I am CL 5,189 and I have not received a new card from Collector's Reserves since 4,174. That is 1,015 CL between 2 cards. And I have only gotten 3 cards since 3,886. That is 3 cards in 1,303 CL. What on earth is this card acquisition rate?

Once you are S3 complete your only methods to acquire new cards are from the season pass card, spotlight keys, and tokens. The spotlight system replaced the old system. And the spotlight system was soo good that they have had to add an extra card a month because people were getting collection complete from just the season pass, tokens and the spotlights till they did that.

So card acquisition is much better now overall for s4 and s5 cards then the old system. But worse then before they added an extra card each month. Its nice to have more cards of course, but it will be harder to keep up as a result without spending at least a little more.

Now if you are not S3 complete you are supposed to get I believe 2 s3 cards in every grouping of 9 reserves. Which means you can go 17 reserves between cards at the max if unlucky.

Thank you, that was very helpful. I took such a long break after original Zabu came out in what was a series of P2W season pass cards, and only arrived back recently. I am pool 3 complete so i guess that would answer my question. But i remain stubbornly F2P as an extra challenge and find the impossible trickle of tokens to be the absolute worst system of the bunch. Wish they would open pool 4 cards up to the 1 free card a season offer, which helped me complete 3. 1 card a season seemed very reasonable when it only required logging in.
