Edit They did say they have NO plans to bring back bundle variants at this time. But that they won't never say never on the possibility here.

i think they should just rotate bundle-only variants in store and that's it. or sell them in gold bundles or something, so just other people can get them, no point gatekeeping stuff.
You could always buy the card for Tokens and get the variant fro the cache. And I think such an "investment" should not be made obsolete, as it is done in good faith to get something more exclusive (even more expensive, than an Ultimate variant), than the average Snap player (not to mention the F2P crowd).
Without the exclusivity those variants become a lot less (in my case 100%) desirable. I get that someone wants something that is gone, I passed on a few bundle/spotlight variants, that I'd really like to have now (the Nico you are after being one of them too ^^), but I think it's good when they stay exclusive to the window they were available at.
i dont think it will be any betrayal if it's reasonable priced like in original run and they are rotating, they still stay exclusive. for example in dota 2 there was "arcana" skin for wraith king that i own from TI 2021 battlepass, it costed originally about 160 usd to get via spending, they reissued it last year in some scam chests, it costed initially, 260 usd in steam market for like month but price gradually dropped and now you can get it for 100 usd. do i feel cheated? no, i enjoyed it's "exclusivity" for many years, and i dont really felt super good about it that my character looked like swag among the peasants in rags. getekeeping stuff is bad let more people enjoy it.
As soon as they are available for gold all exclusivity went out the window. But I'm looking for an excuse to stop playing anyways, so in the end this kind of action would serve a purpose as well.
Sure and it's your prerogative to think and act that way, I simply don't.
Edit: 6k credits are by no means hard to get. That's why we own credit cards. And this kind of support for the game should result in at least the luxury of cosmetic exclusivity.
Think Ming is probably closer to what they will end up being.
Sure pricing them more expensive is great for whale income but those whales already spent their money to get them when they were new. So I'd say it will be more targeted to dolphins or lower spenders.
Their main goal will be to drain your gold so you think about buying more to get another variant, if it's an ok price like Mings players will do just that, if it is quite expensive like yours people will simply not interact with the system at all and SDs goal will fail.
I'm not a gatekeeper or whale and don't really care who has what, but I completely understand why whales would be upset.
Contrary to the vocal minority's belief you can't pay to win in Snap, there are plenty of decks that can get you to infinite, win Infinite conquest and compete with the higher ranks of Infinite ladder that don't cost a dime and don't require all the new powerful cards that get released, so buying power is out.
So the only thing they can really gain from their money is is exclusivity. If I were a whale and spent 100s+ to have a unique collection of Variants that at the time looked to be exclusive at the time, then SD turned around and made them available to everyone after the fact I would probably bit a bit miffed and way less likely to open my wallet again.
