No, nobody will put this card in their deck, so nobody will find him in the bar with no name more often. Not even bots play him.
M'Baku is the X-District surprise, that's it.
Gold is pretty much useless right now anyways. It's piling up and there is nothing to spend it on, at least not for me. Once they offer decent gold bundles again this might be the way to go.
Yeah, like so often most of the changes are rather pointless, but that's pretty much what we have come to expect, isn't it?
We will have to see. Stuff like this can hurt a deck alot more then you would think.
Card border-fine
Graveyard-also fine.
Undo Turn-So now you can Undo your end turn, I am sure, those who went 'D'Oh" are happy, but it will prolong games.
ELSA-3/3 back to all locations, dangerous card. Not +3 pwr, but will get much more usage.
They had to do this, what they did to her was a crime.
MIEK- My recent Lowest 1-cost update showed how bad Miek was in usage and clearly they altered him to be more precise, but still have to draw him early. If I read that right, being able to move him where you wish is an augmenting Jeff.
MANTIS-A little random, but a slight pwr nerf. Again, these type cards need lane determination control for them to reduce the guess work. Jean Grey, Nebula, Hope and until more of those cards come, you are not counting on her as a deck construct, and even when you do, better options to choose from now. Mantis has kind of gotten lost in translation. I don't like the RNG element here.
CABLE-was changed due to Loki and its amazing how all those changes went back to what they were. Funny how Loki keeps getting help. Here is the danger of this card is with Yondu, Gladiator, Cable and others can get out of hand in limiting opponent decks to 8 cards.
THANOS- I said in potential nerfs, that they could go after the GEMS and boom. They hurt him here, but with adding energy enablers you take away one here. They decided to punish Thanos for their own featured month after his over usage of data, just tells you how over reacting and paranoid their development is. I can see this being a temporary change for ruining that Thanos creations is not their intent. You don't want to ruin a 6k token card, by altering its creative prevalence. I get the Lockjaw theme, but if they are not careful they could ruin Thanos as they did with other creative creations.
M'BAKU-These jump to the lowest power location themes without pwr, why risk it. Proxima has some teeth, but Cpt. Marvel, M'Baku, if you are designing decks thinking that will win you games in the Meta, quit now. There are vastly better choices to utilize than risk. A meme than a dream, I won't even touch their reasoning. I am going to sideline Nico, Nebula, Sunspot, yeah let's put M'baku in there, I will fool them all. He is played in 30-50 range ranks and I don't see that changing. Theory better, practice not.
YONDU- He is now reduced to only deck constructs that purposely try to reduce your deck size only. Now, he will hurt your power 1-costs, Nebula, Spider Ham, Nico, Sunspot, that can hurt deck constructs from the opposing vantage point, so instead of him hurting your potential 5-6 cost monsters, he will kill your baby monsters instead
LEECH- Again not quite DOA, but a clear relief to every other archetype. He simply is niche now in his usage. Players are not going to go out of their way to eliminate On Reveal for 1 turn. Though Shang Chi, Alioth, Odin, Hela, and many crucial On Reveals can flip board states. I do think players will simply go another route simply because recognizing that the deck construct your up against is not On Reveal, will kill you here. They will simply go the Cosmo route. This change made high end players who can open up better. This change also is probably due to what is coming, but a clear admission of a fine idea that got away from them as you add more cards that came into his ability range. Leech got a time out.
LOCATIONS-Though this will be a constant changed, and glad Lamentis got at time out here, but other toxic locations should be put to rest. Ego, Weird-world and a few others need to go for more creative implementations. Let the player's play. Hopefully in time those new creations of fun puzzle solving mechanics will come.
SHANG-CHI, ZABU, and other cards got a pass, but are being way over played. I don't see anything in here that will alter that.
peace gang...more back and forth...enjoy
[Update not yet available on Steam. Can't launch game. 11:48AM CDT.]
i think it would be cool if they added card randomizer, like random artwork from ones you own, for example i have 2 artworks for wolverine, 2 artworks for carnage, 2 artworks for knull and 2 artworks for death and i like them all and i would like to have them randomly in games without manually changing.
thanos deck is dead to me,
SD just wanna suck the joy out of everything
...so creative /s
Deck is still playing well despite it though.
Miek is insane and by far the strongest 1 drop now.
