March Season Leaks/Datamines
https://snap.fan/news/january-patch/

Some wild stuff in the pipeline!

Hope Summers (Season Pass) - After you play a card here, you get +2 Energy next turn.
Pixie - On Reveal: Shuffle the Costs of all cards in your deck.
Mockingbird - Costs 1 less for each card you have in play that didn't start in your deck.
Cannonball - On Reveal: Move an enemy card away from here and add a Rock where it was. If it can't move, destroy it to add the Rock.
War Machine - On Reveal: Until the end of next turn, nothing can stop you from playing cards anywhere.

Pixie and Cannonball definitely seeming like the most interesting of the bunch. Pixie in particular feels like she'll have some truly degenerate combos with stuff like Mobius in Thanos or JaneJaw shells. i can't imagine a future where she's released as a 1/3.

The season pass card in Hope Summers also looks pretty wild. It's a bit of a "slower" ramp card as you won't be consistently playing with increased energy on turn 4 (unless you throw wasp + hope on 3) but the ceiling here is much higher than electro or wave are able to push out. Playing Hope on Turn 3 and then X + Kitty on turn 4 means you're playing with 9 energy on turn 5 and then you can continually push more cards into the lane to ensure your turn 6 has you with at least 8 power available to you.

Obviously stats and effects are subject to change here but there's a lot on the horizon here to theorycraft.

A few interesting things there.

Also of interesting note, they seem to have hidden or not included any bundle information in the patch code. So there is no telling currently what the upcoming bundles will be. I expect this is the result of some of the blow back I heard occurred over some of the recent datamines being way different then the end bundle.

Season pass card looks broken, par for the course, couple fun looking ones in there as well.

The constant nerf cycle has left me pretty numb to new card releases.

Hard to be excited for any of the good looking cards when I already know their future is sitting in my collection collecting dust =/

This specific card that was specifically stated in the op that I responded to Jack ass.

Nowhere did I say anything about all season pass cards. 3 of last 5 have been meta defining, 1 has been nerfed into the ground, 1 has had several nerfs around it, 2 just got nerfed today. So yea it's pretty par for the course.

man they single handedly butchered supergiant from 1/2 to 4/5
how are u gonna play the maw now

proxima also got nerfed for jumping to lowest power and not a losing lane

cull went from 4/10 to 4/9 as well, ultra lame

Hope Summers, it seems like she will enable some deranged combos and vomiting hands, busted. Pixie seems fun, she might be good or bad, depending on the deck. War Machine = lockdown is dead. Mockingbird and Cannonball are good. Cull Obsidian, Supergiant, interesting. Am I the only one who is going to say it? Utopia and Krakoa are busted locations.

Saw it, and they are more powerful than you think. IF they release as is. Cards could alter or be replaced, like Firestar.
When they are released we will judge them then. For now, it is what it is.

Pixie Thanos will be broken as hell, but I expect these to change tbh. Cards that are 2 months out usually receive changes.

Good way to start planning spotlights early though to make the most of your keys.

SD should start paying everyone QA wages, maybe even PR bonuses.

Pixie in the data mined state is equal to uninstalling the game by how much degenerate combos it will allow. Supergiant changed but not much for what it enables to happen. It's like they enjoy watching people do the work for them and then pretend to make stupid excuses, like the excuse they did with "transformed cards" their QA team got confused ... like What? I personally don't want to feel like a test subject, and to pay for it be it cash or time, because time is an expensive currency.

Its really funny that they dislike people data mining , but they do it intentionally. There is zero reason for those assets to be in flight and available for mining unless you want to make a buzz and an easy buck.

Supergiant will release, people will pair it with Alioth, outrage ensues and SD panics, acts surprised and nerfs the combo because cards like Alioth aren't allowed to be meta.

So much agreement with this take. They intentionally put these 'leaked' info to keep interest and garner hype on how 'cracked' and 'OP' they will be....then casually remove bundle info. Marketing Dept should get a bonus for manipulation.

i don't think supergiant is properly understood, 1 cost would've enabled maw to be played before turn 3, which i thought was the whole point, now SG is worthless in a maw deck

and i don't see how alioth is helped by SG, if cards reveal end of the game, the way i see it, it works like invis woman, so that means everybody else flip their cards first and then whatever else under invis woman/supergiant,

which means opponent already flips their cards, then you flip alioth, which means it wouldn't do jack

so now you gotta corvus on 3, giant 4, hela 5 and then modok 6, assuming corvus didn't already chop off part of the combo, which is an incredibly low chance
boooooooo

i totally thought i had a black order theme deck going it's already shafted before its released

I think you're underplaying Supergiant's utility. It's there to specifically shut down turn 5 leech, Black Swan, Magik (if not played before 5), or Sera strategies. Anything that relies on a "prep" card to enable a larger combo or cost reduction is going to immediately be impacted by Supergiant's existence.

Because the cards "stay" unrevealed until the end of the game it also gives Alioth free targets regardless of priority. You play Supergiant on 4, they play cards that stay unrevealed until the end of the game on 5, you play Alioth on 6 to nuke their turn 5 play.

It's a bit more balanced now that it doesn't include the "current" turn compared to its original datamined incarnation and that you're "only" playing a 4/6 but I doubt the Maw synergy that you mentioned was ever really its strongest use case in the first place. We have Sauron to enable late game Maw.
