Where Blob is unpredictable is in Hela decks. Where he drops in a lane unpredictably. Here he must pop mid game and reduce those 6 costs to 4. Hit him with your big 6 costs in your deck, Huge. However, I find I don't need to close games with Blob what so ever.
Blob is impressive, but not Meta game changing. I do think better cards are coming. So I have no issue if players save their keys for something else.
And of course, Blob is extraordinarily weak to Shang Chi, so you gotta choose between running Armor to protect Blob, or running Arnim Zola as an alternate to drawing Taskmaster.
A perfect Blob scenario is practically unbeatable imo, but getting a perfect Blob scenario is kinda hard.
I will say, Blob created a purpose to running Quicksilver and Domino, so that was pretty neat.
(Oh and he's weak to Shadow King, I forgot because no one has done it to me yet, but I did play Luke Cage once to stop that being possible)
Tako je, reci ti njima.
Both those cards make you less likely to draw Blob, a card to combo with him, or ramp.
They are still just as bad as they ever have been.
You had to bash cards all games to get these kinds of numbers with Knull, Blob does it just by playing him. Surround him with a good support deck and he's a free lane.
The latest cards crap all over the older cards. It really feels like if you don't have the latest cards you're at a disadvantage and missing out. I guess thats the point though, if the cards were overtuned the developer wouldnt be able to convince people to whale for the monthly £100 bundles.
Blob isn't really out of hand. Weak to Shadowking, Cosmo, Shang Shi and Alioth. Those are common cards in many decks and 2 of them are available very early in game.
Besides they usually just avoid priority. Hmm...Perhaps I'll just crutch on lockdown and Alioth then, thats surely what this game needs more of /s.
In a match you draw 75% of your deck until turn 6, so chances are good you get those cards in hand when you need them.
Goose, Storm, X and surprisingly new Aero as well. Like you said many ways to counter a single big 6 drop. It could be a billion power after getting buffed and all the old counters work just fine.
You haven't seen my draws.
Correct, your opponent will also be playing the game.
I am currently playing Blob in a Thanos deck and I have a lot of success in gold conquest. Here is the decklist:
(1) Iceman
(2) Okoye
(2) Psylocke
(2) Jeff the Baby Land Shark
(4) Shang-Chi
(5) Blue Marvel
(5) Devil Dinosaur
(5) Professor X
(5) Vision
(6) Alioth
(6) Blob
(6) Thanos
