Ultimate Variants

Am I the only one who thinks that every Ultimate Variant should have its own unique VFX and audio to justify 5k tokens price point. IMO I prefer alot of other variants over Ultimate variants. I know its all personal prefence but It just seems incosistant when some cards have small VFX in their variants for example Dan Hipps Brood. They could for exaple give Thors ultimate variant a knullified Mjölnir. It just seems lazy on the devs part. I think they should all have VFX like Thanos, Galactus and HE to justify the tokens needed.

Supposedly they are making "mythic" variants and are planning on including all the bells and whistles on them. Though I have a feeling those will be sold for money.

Those variants are only there to milk the whales wallets for "exclusivity".

Anyone eles will give a flying ♥♥♥♥ for it. I couldn't care less.

Right now the "Rare", "Super Rare", "Ultimate" tags/lables are mainly about price. Super Rare 1200 gold, Ultimate 5000 tokens etc. Some people are actually influenced by those tags alone in purchasing decisions. I know that might sound crazy to some, but it's true.

There's no specific artwork, no cool effects and in my opinion for this CCG there really should be something special about each of these. I'd love to see this change in the future. Obviously you can't really change the artwork to something specific as there's plenty of these cards already existing, but adding something like a specific color to the card's name would be cool. Having the option to turn that on or off for these types of cards might be a good idea for various reasons for example looking awkward with different splits.
