Go to Collection and click the "?" symbol top right, you'll be able to see what cards you are missing.
You might now can only get variants perhaps.
Regular reserves only give P3 cards, so if you're P3 complete, that is absolutely normal.
For the spotlight caches, if you have most cards, you will very rarely open a card in those and should save them for weeks when you want at least 2 of the cards to avoid getting variants.
spotlight caches has a 25% chance for any of the shown cards.
so save them for a week in which you are missing at least 2 of the offered cards.
nothing forces you to open these chest.
the yellow chests
only offer pool 3 cards, at your lvl you should already have all pool 3 cards,
so save them and wait for the next tier drop.
which should happen in about a week.
a tier drop happens like every 3 months. pushing 4 cards each from pool 5 into 4,
and from pool 4 into 3.
thats also why you should save tokken for pool 5 cards. ( 6.000 tokken: galactus, tanos, ... )
because buying pool 4 cards ( 3.000 tokken ) might feel aweful once thse you just bought drop into pool 3. :D
You can see the contents of those pink boxes each week, when you open you CL ladder on top.
Reserves don't give you anymore a new s4 card every 40 boxes since they introduced the pink boxes (spotlight cache).
I think you're being optimistic here. I will be pleasantly surprised if we ever see another card drop to series three.
Buying the season pass: which is bad. For instance: Im not interested in Loki and the pass doesnt give me options to get another cards, like giving me tokens.
Saving/buying tokens: the super expensive way to get 'em.
And the more cards you own, the harder it gets to get any new card. If cards drop series somewhere in the future, Ill probably get nothing since I own a lot of the older s4.
Are you just opening spotlights whenever they pop up?
I'm s3 complete 7k cl and have been getting 2+ cards plus the season pass card a month since the new system started.
Legion and Mirage last month, and X-23 and currently have 5 spotlights to pull if I wanted to pull another this month.
At the worst Rng possible you will still pull 1 new card a month if you are opening properly.
I had 2/4 cards I wanted in the when the first spotlight came out. I spend 20 K (ftp) to get 1 card and gotten the skin instead. I really wanted Jean Grey and I end up not getting her.
So now I'm waiting till I at least see three I cards I really want. And this last 2 months have been really bad for me in the spotlight cache shop, only showing some move cards which I don't really need.
I thought about X23, but she ends up clogging the board so I passed on her. She doesn't really fit into any deck besides deadpool. I don't think Mirage is any good .
I did like Lady deathstrike and wanted her but not the two other cards in the cache so that's why I passed on her. Sadly...
The last few months have been pretty meh considering what new cards came out too tbh.
If you only have this little chance of obtaining a new card you obviously need to pick securely what you want going further.
At worst Rng possible you would pull zero cards and just a skin each month.
For sure
1. You get less shards. Less shards is less upgrades , is less levels and less rewards
2. You get much MUCH less tokens. disabling the token shop for f2play players
3. You got 0.0 chance to get a p4,5 or p6 cards in regular caches now.
4. You don't get to choose any cards any more. They just offer the ones they want and everyone in the community gets the same cards at the same time, which is pretty bad for the meta on top too.
5. Your chance to get a new card in the shop is really low if you own all p3 and some p4 and fives. It constantly shows u cards u already own or just 1/4 forcing you to gamble on the card.
So yeah it was bad before, but now it's bad on a whole new level.
This is good news, thanks. Is there a time frame?
