to be fair we should be able to chose what card we want to discard like in any other card game because some deck can be oriented on the discard mechanic but because it's random we can't really use it

It sounds like you're new to the game. You rarely see Uatu or Quicksilver once you progress further.

Uatu can be good situationally, but other times he really does nothing. As you progress, more and more decks pack cards than can counter most disruptive locations and synergize with their own deck, like Storm and Magik, or just scoop if a location hoses them.

Quicksilver seems good until you start building decks that have multiple combos, then he's more of a handicap than a help. It's important to keep in mind that he's not an extra card you start with, he's just guaranteed to be one of the cards in your opening hand. That actually significantly reduces the chance of drawing into your counters and key combo cards by ensuring he's always one of the 9 cards you will see in a typical game.

Lufia, I am not sure where you got the idea that Legion is a bad card. Its a deadly lock-down card. Deadly. Clearly you don't get his mechanic. No offense
I saw Lady Death-strike's buff coming, to me still not enough. Better, but may see her a 5/5.
I think they raised her 1 to test, see what the data shows in a month.

Now that I know you are serious about Uatu, like Howard the Duck, in a 6 turn match, not going to help you. He is a nice choice option in the very card you slighted in Legion to predetermine locations for his play. He is not that strong in any way. In-fact he needs a buff. You are not wasting cards in any deck theme. Much stronger and more prevalent 1 cost cards to select from. Uatu Legion location lock down, There he can help.

As a play card, will not win you a lane, and revealing locations actually telegraphs where you're going. Your opponent isn't threatened that you know all three locations. As all 3 are revealed by turn 3, he can adjust to the match and know exactly what your doing. Where you play Uatu also reveals what you are doing. No deception, no strength, lack of archetype usages. If you truly fear Uatu, you are not paying attention to what your opponent is doing and more worried about your own sequences.

I consider him a C/D-Tier card, and that is being generous. Just too many better options. You be well.
