P.S. If you are below CL 500, then what I wrote does not apply to you for now.
So why allow us that can't even farm tokens, or anything to even play Conquest?
Free wins for the Pay Cows, Bank Whales, and Mommy's Credit Card Kids?
Spiderham could not be excluded, that too is being tested with analytical data on what may need to be altered later. Up to them.
You also have some strong archetypes dominating the meta at the moment.
If you are that fearful of Spiderham in that mode, try utilizing a deck that you can still work with if Ham hits a high card of yours. Powerful early 3 cost and 4 cost zabu decks don't seem to have too much difficulty against Spider Ham.
I am not quite sure how NEW players say 500-1000 would even play a player at that level with Spiderham (T5 series) card. Unless they spent like mad and used tokens to get that card.
Lockjaw is a fine deck for early players to Spider ham. Simply because that deck construct, if Ham piggies a 6-cost, they are still playable for lane wins with high costs, like Infinaut, Chavez, and others. There are also counters, Warmonger, Cosmo, and others. You can't just make decks to deal with one card.
Cannot defend everything.
Do you have Infinaut already (Pool 2)? If yes, put it in your deck(s). When hit by Ham, you have a 6/20 card without restrictions. 😉
0/4 Win with Spider-Ham starting in your Deck.
How?
I've been knee capped into being unable to get it, because I made the sad mistake of not playing the game early enough?
Conquest Mode is meant to be end game content for people who hit Infinite since there's nothing else for them to do. Proving Grounds is actually limited to people of a similar CL, so just farm tickets and medals there. There are people who have bought everything in the Conquest Shop just by farming Proving Grounds.
just try to enjoy and don't bother with conquest till u got the cards u need to be able to compete.
That card is going to be garbage out of dedicated move decks.
I havent even seen spider ham in conquest yet, seeing less Dr dooms so not every deck he hits is that impactful and worth the slot.
Almost all meta decks REQUIRE Series 4/5 cards. Only one that pops to mind thats only seires 3 is Surfer and MODOK.
Idk seems like you should also be complainign that you do not have access to Thanos/Galactus yet as well because you have not played the game long enough. There are budget decks that are somewhat ok.
Current system that we have had for a while outright gives you 6k tokens a month, enough for a series 5 card or 2x series 4 cards. Plus whatever RNG luck you have opening caches.
Card aquisition isn't the problem, the fact you have played the game for less than a week seems to be the problem. In which case if you are only getting matched with meta decks stick to standard if its too frustrating. Can always chill in proving grounds if you wanna play conquest with the rest of us noobs.
300 token rebate for those that buy the card making it cost just 2700. It's just a tiny discount, has no effect on you whatsoever, and in reality is no differnet than having the card be buyable for 2700 tokens outside of the mental tricks to get people to spend their tokens ont he card thinking 'they are only gaining money by spending money'.
Tax on the stupid/poor as with all things in life.
