MARVEL SNAP

MARVEL SNAP

So much retreating
It seems to be really bad this season. I would say only about 25% of games actually ends in a complete game.

I have stopped running my control deck because as soon as a single counter comes out the opponent will normally retreat straight away, even on turn 1 or 2. It's just not fun to play when games end so prematurely so often.

I know retreating is part of the game, but i wish there was more incentive for people to stick with games for longer. For me one of the best parts of the game is ending on a win after a bad beginning.

Snap at the first turn, problem solved.

That would make it worse not better. I very rarely snap as it just makes retreating even more likely.

I would like this game more without the snap system. But ok, that's just me. :P

I despise the snap system. It gets even worse at high ranks.. it sucks.

I agree. I would prefer normal win-lose matches. You win one cube or lose one. Period.

No one retreat at the first turn, and if they do you get a cube for a 15 seconds game.

if I don't get the right card draws + some unfavorable locations there's no point in playing the entire match.

I'm not gonna stick around to lose 4 cubes once my opponent realizes I didn't get the card draws I needed.

When your game is based on RNG luck for the win over skill for the win, it’s bound to happen lol

How do you know your opponent hasn't also had an awful draw too?

I get if they snap then retreat makes sense, but if there are no cubes at risk then what is the harm in finding out?

Don't know and don't care tbh.

If you cant predict what your opponent is doing and rely on 'luck' while your opponent reads you like an open book, yeah. Seems like all you do is complain about the game being too easythough.

You snap before you play your counter card, your opponent isnt likely to retreat. Seems liek you are snapping only after you have told your opponent very openly that you have already won?

I don't really snap usually either lately unless its a bot, just grinding my dailies for the credits until I find a deck that sparks joy again.

Oh yeah, that’s what it is, “reading” your opponent lol in this game it’s you versus the locations. The other player is just there to annoy you in the process. Sometimes the locations beat your ass, sometimes they carry you to 8 easy cubes. You don’t retreat because you “read” your opponent, you retreat because the rng wasn’t in your favor. You Snap when the rng is carrying the ♥♥♥♥ outta you. But then, this game is amazing at making you feel like you’re smart at strategy, so… I get why mouth breathers like me get upsetti when it’s suggested that the last thing this mobile game is, is a skill based one. So much of its design suggests it to not be taken seriously and to just enjoy it as a random mess of paper, scissors, rock guessing (incoming generic “well it’s a different story when you reach the high levels” argument, I’m sitting at 62 rn and it’s still nothing but a random mess of slapping down cards and hoping for the best lol but then… maybe the REAL skill starts to show from 70-100 :O Pft).

I think if more people accept it as just a causal little “on the toilet” game and not this amazing “flex of skill” game, most people wouldn’t be so angry with it lol

What we SHOULD collectively be mad at is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ atrocious monetization practice that it has. But like I said, it tricks us into feeling like we’re smart and “good at reading” so we just kinda let it slide Pft
