Uninstalled/Reinstalled the app 2 times.
Disabled all firewalls
Ran each as administrator, and each variation. ei game only app only game/app.
Tried connecting through system tray. Tried connecting through in game plate.
No dice on any of those =/
Tried all release states as well but each gives the same internal error when trying to connect.
Not the biggest deal, only thought of using it because I threw a lockjaw game miscounting what was left in my deck.
The only thing I haven't tried is reinstalling snap itself, but I wouldn't think that would be necessary.
Did you connect your Steam account to your untapped account? That, and restarting the computer, are the only things I can think of.
When I click that the app pops up from the system tray stating
"An internal error has occurred in the Untapped.gg Companion. You can either keep the application running or restart it now."
I did link Steam and Untapped and it still seems broken off a fresh boot today.
Boggles my mind.
Edit: If you need a registry cleaner I suggest the free version of CCleaner as a good option.
Uninstalled, deleted folder, ran CCleaner, restarted reinstalled.
Still has an internal error as soon as I try to connect.
At least decks are only 12 cards to remember I suppose.
The problem ended up being browser based, Google Chrome. It was blocking something without any pop ups, which is weird because I have no addons installed on it.
I opened Edge, tried to connect with the app, it worked instantly.
