MARVEL SNAP

MARVEL SNAP

Hey Devs, please remove the "retreat" function
Hey,
I'm playing this game now for arround 1 month and I'm pretty much pissed about all those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ which are always retreating as soon as possible. Its just wasting my time.

After "snaping" it seems like 90% of the players dont got the balls to finish a match that they might could lose. This is simple lose for both sides. When I would win I dont get all points for level up and the other player still lose points.

This game still need a lot of luck to win when you dont got the right cards on your hands.
Its okay for me not to win the whole time. Other players have the same problem.
But I notice so many retreating players which just sucks.

Those players should get the same lost of points like the would lose in the last round.
The other players should get the whole points of course.

The game is too fast paced. If you do not have a good hand by turn 3, you're going to lose. It's really that simple. There aren't many strategies viable after turn 3 unless you specifically build for it.

Deal with it, i'm not gonna finish a match knowing i'll lose just so you get your points and I lose mine.

This game is based on the idea of being a poker like bluff card game. If you don't retreat you won't climb the ladder on higher ranks.

Who is gonna say that your opponent got good cards?
You even can win with a bad hand.

If you not able to deal with a lose you might not should play those games.

Thats the problem.
climbing up takes forever this month for me. Last month I was at level 50 really fast. This months they all retreating and it takes forever with only 2 points to get a level up.

I fully appreciate where you are coming from, but that is the nature of the game, and it has to be this way due to the massive luck factor involved in winning and losing. I hate it when people retreat on turn 1 or 2 as pretty much any game could still go either way at that point, but I understand why people do it. If you want to climb the ranks you have to only take 1 cube losses. Personally I like to see how things turn out and only retreat if i know i'm facing a 4-8 cube loss.

This season there does seem to be a LOT more people retreating early. Probably people have learn't its the best way to raise your rank if that's what you are here for.

Don't snap last turn when you're about to win, or when you obviously winning, and people won't leave. It is unbelievable how bad people are in snaping. I am not an idiot, I won't give you cubes just because.

A hand of this game takes like four minutes at most. Five hands at 2 points per takes 20 minutes in total. If your attention span can't handle that, it isn't the game's design that's causing your problems.

It's all about cube equity and staying in an unwinable game makes no sense at all.

This right here. Snapping/retreat has it's own strategy.

That only shows how bad the system is at the moment. :(

Its also makes no sense playing a game were players retreat everytime they might could not win.

I think this should be punished more than losing a game.
