Lost all progress

After logging out and going back into the game via Steam, all progress is lost. It basically forces me to play the introduction games again. Did anyone else experience this?

No google account => no link between Android/IOS/Steam versions.

You need to create a "fake"google account for the game.

something is wrong : don't exist an associated Steam account? I've played many hours yesterday, logging in it several times and today, after reboot the PC, all the progress is lost ...

So you guys are saying I need to download snap on mobile.
Link in to steam in order for my progress not to get lost?

No, just link your Google account in the game through the pause menu. No mobile needed.

Already messed up. I had download the mobile app. Have to wait 30 days to link to a google account. Or I'll just have to make a new fake one.

What's making you wait 30 days exactly? I was able to link mine without problem. Maybe clear the cache and attempt again?

Because I had linked my main google account to the mobile app. I couldn't link the steam version to that account anymore. I have to delete that account and it takes 30 days to do so.
So the other option is to make another google account, and link in there instead.

Awww I'm so pissed....
If I just waited a couple mins to see the responses I would avoided all this mess.

In the game itself, it will state if you're signed in above the log in button. If you link the account you use on Steam to a mobile device, you get a unique card variant of either Hulk (Play a game on Android) or Iron Man (Play a game on IOS)

After linking your account on Steam, then login using the same Google account on mobile; your player ID should appear on the app to confirm you're signed in there as well!

It just said that this account is already linked to another marvel snap account.

I tried linking it to a new google account. But I'm not getting any of the notifications or card variants you mentioned.

Maybe try uninstalling the app, and then making sure you're clicking login/link instead of create account? The rewards will appear in your inbox after a few minutes (I played a game, went the bathroom, and they were in my inbox). I hope a fix comes your way if not!

The other discussion threads are so few and far between, they honestly just seem like user error, but the game is in alpha. Hopefully everything is resolved soon!

returning to the subject, today I started the game from a steam on another PC with the same result. It is evident that it does not memorize the Steam account and that linking the Google account to it is mandatory to maintain one's progress

If a dev sees this: should those who lost all progress expect to get it back in the future or is there no hope of that and so we should just create a new account and link it to a google account if we wanted to play?
