i kinda like Turok 2008 i thought it was better then evolution. Evolution has such a great idea but the execution was freaking awful. T1 and T2 are head and shoulders above the rest.
bruh i liked it on the cube back in the day.
playing t3 at proper framerates and actually able to see whats going on makes it not so bad now, but turok remake wasnt bad imo it was better then the original(which imo the very first turok game sucked)
but turok 08 multiplayer was pretty damn fun story wise yeah it sucked, game itself didnt suck.
evolution was kinda eh not the best game but wasnt the worst game, which id still rather play 08 over evo
^ this
They didn't have the source code and were actually missing a lot of assets of Turok 3, so it was reverse engineered. And I think they had issues getting the license or something. Plus this remaster has enhanced models and textures and also unlocked frame rates, unlike the first two games.
I do think the price is too high since the game is quite short (I just unlocked my last achievement after 10 hours) and simply not that great, but it's still entertaining.
Turok 3 is the one entry in the series that people actually finish, and finish multiple times.
Also the amount of work put into this remaster was huge. Far, far more work than Turok 1/2.

See it was on pc too. You just can't buy the OG copies anymore.
Good thing I have the CD for both copies.
Only Turok 3 never had a PC port until now.
I had to refund the game cause of issues.
Not performance issues but AI issues and such.
But his argument was still wrong, the price of the remaster has nothing to do with that.
