Grabbed syrettes first in tutorial NOW I'M STUCK.

So In the "tutorial" or, beginning of the game, I died running away from the hotel and was brought to a closet with a dude in a leather jacket talking to me blah blah blah... ok so since i was dying, it told me to stabilize myself. done. Next i figure i'll grab some health from the obvious health kit on the wall, walk up, press E, and i fill up on med supplies including "syrettes"

Now, at this point, the game is barking instructions at me via text on the top of the screen, and it says save at the blue box or whatever, so I do that. I make a new save. Also just happens to be my first and only save. Then I think ok great, i'm all set, lets get this party started, and I go to grab the guns on the table. I do that, it talks at me about the types of weapons whatever, and then when i'm done it says, to grab syrettes, walk up to the medkit and press E. Erm... well somehow I figured that out already on my own, but no biggie, i'll try to do it again. No dice!

All the doors are shut, nobody will talk to me and I guess I can't do anything until I grab the syrettes, but I can't grab the syrettes because I already did! And since I saved AFTER i first grabbed the syrettes, I'm stuck here. permanently. WTF.

You must be out of your mind picking up syrettes without being told to do so!

The tutorial is a bit of a chore. Once you have done exactly as told by the game, you will be free to roam and do your own thinking.

I'd try using the syrette and see if that will bypass it, because after you pick up a syrette, the game wants you to use it to restore your health. I think the default key is "H".

Failing that, you'd probably just have to start over (a pain, yeah), but you're only a few minutes into the game.

um... that's cool. Thanks guys, but it's been almost a year since i posted this... so... um... i gave up a long time ago.

I think I tried but for some reason I couldn't, again, it was almost a year ago so I don't really remember anymore, also It's just kinda weird that this thread is getting all kinds of attention recently... like... why?

Haha, I don't even know how you grabbed the syrettes first with an RPG sitting on the table. It took me a good five minutes of looking around those two tiny rooms to find the medkit... It was one of those "OMG, for reals?" moment when I finally found it.

... and I can't get out of the closet because the guy calling the shots is blocking the path. I heard this was the best far cry game, so far .. not impressed

ok, I had the patience to watch the whole cinematics again. This time the guys on the bridge did some weird twitching up and down, same did the shot calling guy. There seems to be some serious graphic glitches that move the characters to wrong places

oh yeh, but I even got outside to try and start the coupe, lets see how that goes.

Because it's necessary. BTW, the first task you need to complete before doing the syrette thing is to save the game using the blue box in the closet.
