it is kinda a silly question, but how do i heal without using the syringes?

what i mean is, how do i get the "pulling bullets out of my arms with tweezers" animations?

this is my first playthough and since i am so hardcore (>:D), i am playing on the hardest (infamous) difficulty. do i have to be on the last bar of health?

just curious. kinda annoyed that instead of ripping the tonnes of bullets i eat out of my mouth i just either stab myself with a syringe, pick up a water bottle, or go to sleep to heal myself.

For the animation to kick in you have to be on the last health bar, you´re right. ;)
The "animation-healing" only gets you back to "normal" minimum health whereas syringes fill up all bars.
"Infamous" is a must. ;D

also water bottles give you health. On easy normal or hardcore the bottles fill your health....on infamous they only fill up 1 bar, but still helpful.

thanks. i was actually trying to get myself below i bar of health to get the animation to kick in, but i kept on dying XD

Didn´t know they fill all the bars on lower diffs - sounds too easy! ;D

you cant, on infamous difficulty you instantly die once your health gets lower than 1 bar, no matter how little damage you took unless they damage you while in the midle of the syringe animation

Not true......played thru infamous about 4 times and never insta-died like that.

For me I always get insta killed with infamous on The second bar instead of the last one, I never got killed on the last bar so I couldn't do those cool healing animations.

yes, that is what i have been finding, which is a shame.

There is so kinda funny trick I saw on YT, when you stand on water bottom and when you almost die from lack of oxygen, you may endlessly do that healing animations and not die. It looks stupid to bandage yourself, spit your tooth, burn your arm just because being in water for too long xd
