To avoid future frustration/tedium, here's a few tips.
1. After you get tired of being chased through outposts, use the buses and boats to travel. Drive around outposts or sneak by them.
2. Save at a safehouse nearby every mission. I've repeated at least an hour or two of gameplay because I got so engrossed and forgot to save, then died.
3. Change your weapon loadout, experiment. It may seem like there's less freedom than the latest Far Cry's because of a lack of perks and customization, but the weapons are really diverse in the options they give you.
2) press F5 for instantsave
i even prefer the outpost system in FC2 over the Fc3 one. once you cleaned out the FC3 outposts, no enemies will spawn anymore. very boring open world after completing the boring story.
Not entirely. You can go into settings and reset all outposts in FC3, and fight for them all over again. A bit dumb, honestly, but it gives the game a sort of "arcade mode." You initially capture the outposts more to support yourself in the actual story, but by resetting them it is almost like a survival mode addon to a shooter game based around the story or multiplayer.
imo
Yeah... I mean, the "spirit" of the game is better than that of 3. But the bugs and stuff just make me want to cry. I made a forum post about how my grenades started flying out of the bottom right corner of my screen, instead of the center when I throw them.
4 years later and I did the same. They sure did a bad job on this haha Now I know too that I need to check the computer. I was starting to get mad at that lazy guy for never showing up for work.
Oh no ♥♥♥♥ I just reinstalled this game today to give it another go, just before checking my steam notifications.
hahaha talk about coincidences!
