We're on Win 8.1 PRO & it works on Steam but Skyrim won't nor will far Fallout 3 btw :)

Fallout 3 and skyrim work on Windows 8 only If you have 64-Bit If you don't stop complaining and get a better pc.

Yeah both Fallout 3 and Skyrim work on Win 8.1 64bit just fine.

I run this game now without issue on Windows 8.1. And I ran the game without issue on my other PC with Windows 8.

Well i'm playing on win 8.1 64bit and i'm gettting lots of bugs (guys teleporting and levetating etc...) which I wasn't getting when I bought the game on release day on win vista 64bit.

might be cause of win 8 or maybe I just never noticed them when I first played the game.

Yeah I meant to say I'm on Windows 8.1. Not sure why people are having issues and I'm not. A lot of the time I'm the one having bugs and issues on games and everyone else isn't have them. Maybe this is like when you go to the dry cleaner and sometimes they lose something of yours...and then sometimes you get home and notice they gave you something extra that belongs to someone else.

google about missing(in win8, win8.1)winhttp*.dll files you need for game(simply copy to game folder), there was links on fc2 support page/forum, long ago(so i can't remember link), just google about.

Hello guys!
Im using win 8.1 and after downloading Far Cry 2 i cant patch the game.
There is a message:"could not retrieve version number.Operation will be aborted"
p.s The game is downloaded from Steam.
