Can't open diamond case!!

When I walk to a diamond case and try to open it the hand-symbol does not apper making it impossible to open the case and get the diamond!
Is this a known bug? How to fix it? I already have ~170 diamond cases but I found two in a row which won't open... (Both near TaeMoCo Mine).
I already checked my game files...
Hope you know a solution...

OK...
I found the solution:
Try to look at the corner of the case then it can work.
If not get into a vehicle and after this it works again...
Seems a bit sensless but I now have 10 more cases opened with these method :D

yes just approach it from a different angle, that often works.

The targeting for some of the items you use in the game world are a bit wonky - you may have to move forward or backward a bit, or left or right, while also aiming around at various points to get the hand-icon for use. I remember a few cases being particularly tricky. One of the weapons shops is also difficult to get guns from because of this - the one in the NE quadrant of the southern map, IIRC.

The 2 people above already gave the solution, but I've noticed by opening diamond cases a lot that they can only be opened when you are in front of them, which would makes sense if you want to be realistic but hey, it's a video game (not even realistic on top of that :p).

I found that shooting the case a few times can make it work properly. Plus many cases seem to only be openable from the front.

All cases operate from the front. You can get them open from many different angles
but the latches are on the front of the case.

- Don't waste your ammo.

Also, I've found that sometimes doing a healing animation can fix your ability to open the case. Hurt yourself a bit, e.g. with explosives or fire, press heal, try and open the case then.

Perhaps a reloading animation might have the same effect, try that too.
