Game not work at Windows 8.1
Realy? At first i start game and its working, but then its dont launched. What i must do now?

I'm playing on windows 8.1 x64.
Go to Documents\My Games\Far Cry 2 folder and open up GamerProfile.xml. Find (Fullscreen="1") (Maximized="1") change it to 0 and save. Run the game and go to options and change dx9 to dx10. Restart the game and change the resolution to what you want.

Проблема решилась! Запустить игру в режиме совместимости Win 95.

Just keep in mind that going to DX10 can cause your NPC's to hop around in the air and some interactions can not be performed, thus stopping your game progression.

I am on 8.1 64bit and had to switch to DX9 to fix the above issue.

I have windows 8.1 and it works fine for me. I doubt it's your OS.
