punkbuster wont install

I'd first try re-installing after a fresh reboot, but I suspect it's something in your
antivirus security settings.

You don't need Punkbuster at all. I never install it. You can skip that, and even delete the PB folder in your install directory.

i had the impression he was stuck and couldn't complete the game install..

how can you skip it? the game doesnt launch because its trying to install punkbuster

Exit the PB install and it should continue.

If for some reason it won't proceed, you can delete the pb folder from the FC2 install location.
