the big pistols aim at their chest - chin you will useually still ruien their day but test the kick back for you outside safe house or something and see where you revert after each shot, i can pop 2 head enough shots if the targets are close togehter, if more than 2 ememys i switch.
In this case you need faster fire rate over damage, which makes 1911 better for me.
Besides, since Deagle requires patience and precision aiming due to the recoil, I'd rather aim for headshots with 1911 because there's much less punishment for missing
but yea for gen purpose if you only have 1 than the semi pistols are it,also drop alot of ammo.
If I went straight for effectiveness I wouldn't have used anything but SMGs or the nade launcher in the first slot.
I did use the silenced Makarov during my 1st or 2nd playthrough, but that one I did in full stealth: silenced Makarov, silenced MP5 and Dart rifle. Was fun and very different, but I like more mayhem now)
