Diamond Case ending *SPOILERS*

The ending where you deliver the diamond bribes to the border guards, then promptly commit suicide, you shoot yourself with the pistol the Jackal gave you, the one inside the case that you just gave to the guard.

So how do you die?

You don't. Just assume the character walks away. Adventure (and game) over.

But the Jackal wanted you to commit suicide, as he did, so that the "disease" of the war would be stemmed with their deaths. If you just walk away, the game's events could repeat themselves elsewhere.

For the diamond case ending, that's probably because he got blown to bits when he detonated that tnt in his hand.

I have a hard time believeing in any character's death in FC2.
First they had all buddies alive despite how I saw most of them die and even shot one myself due to a lack of morphine.
Then they had Longinus in Far Cry 4 who is widely agreed to be Prosper Kouassi living a new life.

We don't know that either. There is the possibility that the Jackal had some alternate method for detonating the dynamite from a safe distance.
