Game Save overload

I have been through Farcry 2 several times, I enjoy it a lot. I have used the F5 quick save many times alomg the way. Now if I click on the save Game box it takes ages to load up the saved moments to get to a new save place. I want o remove all saved slots in order to get back to defalt setting but I dont know how. (I have even reinstalled the game a couple of times) the time it takes to reload the saved slots can be 10 minutes !! which makes the game a real pain, so I continue with the F5 quick saves. I think I have done something wrong here. can anyone help please?

Your save folder is too big. Delete old saves here: Documents/My Games/ Far Cry 2/ Saved Games

its what you get for quicksaving in the first place.

Seriously. Try playing through the game where you can only save at safehouses. So much more fun.

So sorry Karma I have only just opened your message as I have not used this system before. I am doing as you suggest and it is much cleaner now as I only allow a couple of saved positions to reamin each time i save. Thanks though for your thoughts.
