How to add this to Uplay?

I recently bought Far Cry 2 on steam. It is mentioned that uplay is not required to play, but I'd like to add this game also to My Uplay library. Is it possible and how you do it?

Hmm... That's screwed, especially that most Ubisoft games on Steam require Uplay. Thank you for the respond. Then maybe I will find low-priced key in the web so I can add it to Uplay. ;) One of the best games in Far Cry series.

As shared by Lucas, if you've purchased the game on Steam then it will be available to launch via your Steam library. If you'd like to have the game available in your Ubisoft Connect library, you'll need to purchase the game from the Ubisoft store.

There is no way to add FC2 to uplay. Their keys for "legacy" games don't work like that.

However, it's a great thing that FC2 doesn't use uplay. It's completely DRM free as of the 1.03 patch.

Actually uplay's version of farcry2.exe has uplay32.dll injection. That was "fixed" by MF.
