Free captive mission not completing

Apr mission to free a captive. I got in let him out. But the objective marker is still right on top of the room he was in

Marker should disappear once you're notified that the mission was successful.

Still not removing the marker. I played a few hours before trying the mission again after loading a save. Dont really want to start the game again.

Says reputation increased then nothing. And it still ads a buddy.

If you were notified that your rep was increased and a buddy added, then the mission was successful. You shouldn't have any problems.

No new missions appeared, marker still there, and I never saw a mission complete.
Pointless now, I started a new game and am already at where the game bugged last time.
Made it in like 5 hours with my improved skills (got like 200 diamonds already).

Mission Completed, Marker gone, and I can progress!
Just start a completely new game!

Sorry, But I never really found a solution to this issue, besides starting a new game. You might want to check Nexus mods or something for any potential fixes. I love this game, But I never completed it due to bugs.

I replayed the game up to the exact mission that broke it last time. Worked just fine, mission complete. Not sure if it was the launcher, or If anything else was different. But the launcher is an improvement anyways. Can't recomend it enough

I played for years without any bugs, then with new hardware things started to go south
dramatically with game ending glitches. - Multi-Fix is actually a requirement if you want
any confidence that you'll be able to finish.
