Cheats definitely can break the game. I don't recommend them.
I can't replicate the IED bug(s), but they are not changed at all in Redux, so this must also be a vanilla issue.
You really should cap at 60 and enable v-sync in Far Cry 2. I don't recommend anyone play without doing both of these things.
The bloom can definitely be a bit much - but shouldn't be too bad when playing in DX9, which is recommended. DX10 is too buggy, and makes the grass look worse, IMO.
The mountain thing is a side effect of the increased "max slope" the player can traverse in Redux. This is the only bug listed that is due to Redux.
Glad you're enjoying the mod, and I always appreciate constructive feedback.
Yes - holes on the high mesas are by original design. Textures and surfaces that aren't
needed were omitted to save memory.
Actually none of the 'bugs' you mention are caused by the Redux mod. They all exist in
FC2 Vanilla.
Thanks for the feed -

Also the game is NOT large address aware by default so it can use max 2GB RAM,I used LAA program to make it use 4GB RAM,since then I had only 1 crash over almost 60 hours of gameplay, without LAA I had like crashes lie once a hour, but I also alt tab a lot for the diamond map......Tha being said with LAA applied the game launch takes much longer like 30 seconds.
