That will take care of Virago's request.
I know it's too obvious. but:
Check your setting for screen resolution in the game - make sure it's set higher than 640X480.
Use Reshade and check off Ambient Lighting and Enhanced Bump-mapping:
EVERGREENs' Reshade for enhanced color and lighting:

Also up the Contrast and Gamma settings and tone down the brightness slightly
to balance the image.
- Good Luck -

im checking the links you sent out now and yes, my resolution is 1920x something or something like that its at its max settings and thank you
Very glad to help. Reshade made a huge difference in lighting, detail and visibility for me,
and I play at 4096 X 2160. - Can't possibly recommend it highly enough.
FOV actually helps quite a bit. The Default setting of 80 or so is just too narrow a view.
For anyone reading - FoxAheads' 'Multi-Fix' prevents game ending bugs that
often appear late (84%) into the game. Often there's no fix after the fact, and I've had
to delete all saves and restart from scratch twice now. - Hope to save some the same
aggravation.
Multi-Fix has other great features built in and sets FOV by default at launch.
You're not safe unless you always use Multi-Fix to launch the game.
Instructions for running in Steam are included in the article:
Use FoxAheads' Multi-Fixer for running on modern systems.

He can also click on 'Help' at the top of this screen and select "System Information' and copy
the text and paste it to a post here. - Take a screenshot in the game - upload it and post the
link here.
