So I'm not sure if it worked or not. How can I tell?
Take your time.. I'm interested in seeing this.
mess with a good thing.
settings right. Once I toned down the gamma and contrast and upped the colour
values slightly it popped into clarity. - No more desert eye-burn. <8 )
Download reshade, point it at your farcry.exe and make your own custom shaders in seconds. Curves, levels, clarity are really all you need.
What does that mean?
Are you talking about what comes up when you go into properties for Far Cry 2 and click “browse local files” because that brings up 2 folders. bin (I’ll refer to it as bin 2, as there is another bin in your steamapps folder) and there’s also Win32. Which folder should I use? Or am I off completely?
Hunter ! - This for real? Doesn't risk anything of functionality? Can be easily undone?
I've been working in grx for a long time and these are exactly the four most useful tools.
I know that sometimes I can be a bit slow on the upswing - always late for the party but
you've uttered the magic words that have pressed all the right buttons. - Even if I don't
end up using it - it's the shiny new toy I'd love to play with.
Have a time saving hot link handy?
- THANK you! - For the feed - 8 D

My in game screen shot didn't include the reshade menu, but as soon as you boot the game you will be greeted by a brief tutorial. Just check the box of what you want to tweak, and play with the numbers until you like what you see.
Good luck. Happy to help if there's any info you need.
Cool! Which file do I throw the reshade into? Is it the Win32? Or bin?
Too cool - Much appreciated - and as usual - MUCH obliged 8 ) - Thanks !
Does the shortcut work? I only appear to have that.
EDIT: nevermind, I found out how to do it. How would I edit the settings after wards? (I want to turn Splitscreen on at first in order to see what looks good.)
