Why?

the best fix (not really a fix) for the steam version is this... (imo)
1. turn textures to ultimate (or what ever you use)
2. turn on fidelity cas
3. cas strength = full
4. anti-aliasing = filmic smaa t2x
made it look alot better for me at least

Interesting.. Because I'm on WW2 mood, I've just played for the first time COD WW2 and Vanguard back to back and I did notice the texture resolution in Vanguard being much much lower quality than WW2... The hand you see all the time look very soft as well as the ground when you lay down and all character's face.

I thought it was weird and I even doubled check in settings at some point.

I guess it is busted. I had on high the entire time and it looked quite low res.
