To celebrate the 1-year anniversary of its release, the craziest game of 2023 is being updated once more. The second patch for Wanted: Dead from 110 Industries, featuring a ton of fixes, updates and improvements has arrived. Hong Kong Chief of Police Albert Simmons secured more ramen food budget, karaoke mental health days and weapons funding for Hannah Stone and the police department’s Zombie Unit. Gamers playing Wanted: Dead on PC, Sony PlayStation 5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X/S will receive the following improvements and updates, with more fixes coming in 2024.

Here’s a list of features, fixes and overall improvements to keep your sword sharp and your gameplay sharper:

Dauer HQ level — First Ninja Encounter Rework
● The first ninja encountered now has a health bar displayed, and his HP and damage have been modified to provide a better combat experience.
● A new checkpoint detail: Respawn point now happens right before the first Ninja encounter.
● Extra stim packs are now placed on the level.

Improvements and additions
● FSR 2.2 for better performance is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
● Mini-bosses now have a 100% stim pack drop chance.
● The cover system has been updated to enable a manual cover option. It is set as default, but can be switched back in the Options menu.
● Easy “Neko Mode'' difficulty is now available from the Start menu.
● A new Player Stats menu has been added, listing various combat stats performed across the game for the related Achievements/Trophies progress tracking.

PC Improvements
● DLSS 3.5 and FSR 2.2 are now available for Steam.
● Cloud saves are now available on Steam.

Bugfixes
● Further stability improvements have been implemented.
● The game no longer registers controller input while minimized.
● Gamepad vibration/haptics no longer occur when the game is being controlled via mouse and keyboard.
● Reset options in the Display section now work correctly.
● Graphics settings now saved after restarting the game.
● HDR no longer switches off upon restart.
● The “Space Runaway” music can no longer be heard in the Police HQ after quitting from Stage 2.
● Flickering issues corrected in Kowloon Park.
● Redundant prompts have been removed in Kowloon Street.
● Various boss health bar bugs have been fixed.
● Hannah is no longer able to go back and repeat fights in Kowloon Street after a save/load.
● The chainsaw can no longer be dropped during the hand attack animation, which used to cause an incorrect animation with invisible weapons.

Thanks for being patient with us! We look forward to bringing you more updates very soon!

Dumbing the game down and making it easier is not the same as improving the game. I had my eyes on this game for a while and planned on purchasing it, but seeing that the developers don't respect their own game and real gamers, I will have to black list this game and developer and not purchase their products.

Learn, improve, have a backbone to stand behind your own game instead of dumbing it down to chase casual market and do better.

They nerfed first ninja encounter nad increased healing items drop on Japanese Hard too, as if doing that on lower difficulty wasn't enough. They showed middle finger to everybody who treated this game seriously while mainstream media and casuals dogshat on it. They kneeled and listen to their demands. I defended this game, but I'll no longer support Soleil if their main concern is mainstream appeal instead of making games for fans.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess and they alienated everybody who supported this game. Not to mention games still has several bugs and issue that weren't adressed.

Are you an idiot or just a child? Soleil is a company. They want and need as many people as possible to buy and play this game. Just because a handful of people like the difficulty the way it is doesnt matter when the vast majority of potential customers gets turned off for it. Making games just for "fans" when that number is as low as it is, doesnt pay rent for the offices nor for salaries.

You enjoy getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the ass by big corpo, huh? Thankfully, some people have positive numer of IQ and can defend their own self-interest as customers. This games is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disaster, it was critically and commercially panned by majority. Only people who care about this games are fans, because majority don't give a ♥♥♥♥, and the fact that they dumb down the difficulty won't suddenly bring people en masse.

His stance is far superior than yours, just because you can't comprehend something that is above your comprehension capability, doesn't mean that it is idiotic, childish or crazy. You are bound by your genetics, know your place.

Soleil is a clueless company, this recent patch proves it, this isn't the way you get more engagement for your game. No wonder Itagaki left these idiots.

Baseless. Who are these vast majority of potential customers? The vast majority of potential customers are people like me who are interested in more oldschool and challenging games, not the casual masses that play braindead garbage games like Baldur's Gate 3.

Why nerf the Japanese Hardmode difficulty? They added a new braindead easy mode for the casuals and could just nerf standard difficulty, why touch Japanese Hardmode? Terrible business decision, but very fitting for a garbage developer like Soleil.

Both FromSoftware and Team Ninja made games for fans even when the sales numbers were low and now they dominate the oldschool and challenging game market. As for Soleil, perhaps it is better if they can't pay the rent or salaries of their workforce. The gaming industry is not a charity, garbage developers deserve to go bankrupt and exit the industry.

Nope, it's definitely not. Just because some people are butthurt that the dev is changing the game to open it up to more People and make gameplay better doesn't mean that.

And no, the reception and refund amounts to the game show that most people disklike the difficulty aspect to the game. The dev is now working on rebalancing and improving the game and making combat more appealing. Which is a good thing.

And again, no. Team Ninja refined their games and improved the combat. That's different from changing an broken combat system that Wanted:Dead has. No one dislikes hard games. But Wanted:Dead didn't make the hard difficulty appealing by having a broken combat system and bad game design in that aspect. Now they are changing it.
