F2P Is so bad for summons, avoid if new player

F2P is absolutely horrible to play, it wasn't as bad before the update but now it's just awful, saving up just to summon is a pain in the ass because most of the time the rates are just so awful. once you have counter cases done, missions, summon shop etc the game actually feels like a full-time job without the wage, well you have a 25% chance of getting a wage (summon) I love the game and story but I wanna quit but i cant because im addicted at the same time, however, it feels so bad to play now, it feels like you need to use 150 rolls in order to get one stupid character, Thats every single banner.

I really can understand why so many people quit but i will still refuse to pay. Still doesn't make it any less frustrating. Don't even get me started on the event mission lock either.

The reasons to quit are building up more and more, ill hold off on it for now but man the game feels like a chore in terms of summons

Well, for me F2P since Day 1, I never really had a problem with getting summons and I even pitied a handful. I only refreshed the shop like 10 times since Day 1 and I don't fish for tickets using 1 HR dispatches constantly. I recently even had to pity Dorothy, but I still have 180 tickets saved. I have like 87% collection and 60,000 quartz saved F2P.

I can see though that it would be harder for new players now that Global is slowing down from catching up to the Korean server.

im not sure how this game can even take up that much of your time considering you can just skip battle for most stuff and branch office missions are just login, pick the best option and then come back later in the day

also for f2p, you definitely can't roll on every single banner unless your luck is good, so i dunno if you are actually being selective on your banners or just pulling on every new one

compared to other gacha's, this one takes up waaaaaay less of your time (though ive only played GFL, arknights and honkai in the past, which I stopped because they took TOO much time)

Strictly f2p since last yr. (barely missed R. King banner), and I'm here with more than I ever planned to have. All characters are nice, but not all characters are worth your investment. For the majority of your decisions, you'll need to look at the cost-to-usage ratio to get the best bang for your hard earned tickets. Some characters are purely Pvp, others purely Pve. Depending on how you play the game, you'll need to view it from both P's. Black tickets are the most expensive, and it'll take you even a month to save up for an Awakened of your choosing, depending on your need.

It's safe to say that, as someone who represents the f2p'ers here, we have a surplus of all the things needed for pulls on each banner, provided that we choose what we wanted/needed. Yes. Surplus. If we can do it, then it's really possible to save all your tickets and resources for the characters you'll want/need to pull. I've invested 700+ hrs. (mostly because I open the game for the OST and waifus), but you'll just need an hour to finish all the things you need, and then log off. That ain't a job; that's even less of a part-time job, lol! Whales get things instantly; F2P get things through gradual/delayed gratification. It's all about the approach and patience.

Best place (so far) for general reference on the grades of characters. Helps you decide if they're worth your pull or not. I need to emphasize that it's a general reference. Just because they placed it there, doesn't mean it's must-follow. It helped a lot of us out here in our decisions for sure.:

Prydwen allowed me to plan ahead and roll only on the worthwhile banners. So my opinion is the opposite in that Counterside is VERY generous with its rolls.

My problem is actually that I have too many (good) employees sitting in my inventory at level 1, because the update took away free XP from skipping sims/supply ops/etc, and I can't be bothered to spend the money/appraisal to level them up. Like Kaci Blossoms, Awakened Yuna, Replacer Queen, Carmen, Gremory, Spira, etc.

Ya need to up Rearm Kaci and A. Yuna, stat. Their Pve usage is just outstanding.

Im sticking with almost 600 blue tickets, because I very rarely summon in normal banners. I get all the units from event free summons, selector tickets or daily summons.

If you want to know if something is good past your early start, you can always practice mode a char first. That always helps me decide. And is the reason why I for example don't believe in Dorothy. Her AI isn't really preferring her buff, and only 1 crit per "attack" counts, even if the attack has multiple hits that crit or hits multiple enemies.

Feels like a top 10 danger close RNG reset marathon char to me. Everyone experienced enough can and should figure these things out for themselves. As a rule of thumb I like to go with chars that bring unique things to the table that otherwise simply do not exist.
Carmen was one of such example, being the only unit the can remove debuffs from allies.

Tier lists are strictly a form of simple help for beginners that don't know anything about the game and need something simple to focus on. You can't understand the entire game in a day. Or know all the units by heart, so you actually know if something new has actually new stuff or just something other units can do anyways.
