Sigma acts as a turret, so you'll want to let the enemies get close enough for her to target them. Then, drop the Bulwark to stop them and use the CO suppressor at a little distance in front of the bulwark to get full use of it's range. From there, just replace the CO suppressor each time the last is finished.
Seconding Dr. Atrocious, don't play it on auto at all. The game makes laughably terrible decisions, I don't quite get how that user managed to finish it on auto.
Thanks! That helped! :) (EDIT: Specifically not using the other units besides bulwark and CO suppressor when available ... so to have resources to instant re-deploy the CO2 supressor when it goes down seems to be very valuable here)
In this special case it actually does matter, since these specific side story stages are part of the Master level of the Taskforce Plan. I don't know .. maybe they added this for new players and it's not there for you or it's so far back you have forgotten, but within that reward-system you can only complete the single one active objective and fulfilling requirements for later objectives doesn't count until they become active. So (among other things) I'd basically do daily simulations without getting the taskforce-plan-rewards for them just because I did not finish the stupid Sigma story arc. ;)
also EDIT 2:
Seriously! I didn't realize the bulwark taunts. Auto mode deploys it right on the tower ... so all the damage "splashes" (?) over to it. ^^
here you go buddy, just dont auto
