UE4 Fatal Error Crash

Had the same, right at the beginning, as the camera panned from one room to the next in the garage. Restarted and then played three hours without a hitch. Hope it was an anomaly.

crash on day 3 in the same exact spot 4 times, gonna have to wait for a patch

After the third crash my savegame is gone. That is frustrating.

yeah i contacted quantic dream support after making a video for them so they can see the error, they wanted me to go full nuclear option by wiping out my drivers reinstalling steam and since this is the only game thats giving me issues i decided to just to take the loss im past the 2hrs for the refund

just for a last ditch effort i turned my settings to low and even used eco mode and i got out of the sub and faced the ground and it crashed at the same spot it always does so thats it

Same issue, every time i exit the sunken sub the cutscene gives a fatal error crash, setting off mine gadget also causes same crash about 50% of the time.

I set off an underwater mine. It auto saved right before it went off and crashed. So now I can't start up my save without it crashing instantly and this problem happened on day 3 (in game time) with exactly 3.3 hours in.

Same problem here. Set the mine, right at the explosion, game crashed.
Now, i get a fatal error on loading the save.

Hope they fix the problem soon.
Really liked the game so far. :(

Similar issue. Blew up a tunnel grate lock and crashed. Now if I go near the tunnel area (where the game crashed) the game crashes around the same area every time...

Yeah, I've given up playing for now, unfortunately. I had a few fatal crashes early game just by exploring and swimming around. Then, it started crashing every time I put a mine down. Now, it's just crashing while I'm going from point A to point B on my main objectives. I'm towards the end of the game but have had a few fatal crashes in the past 30 minutes. The last one froze my whole computer and I had to manually power off my PC. It's a good game but it's just unplayable. I have a beefy PC but I don't think it matters, because I don't think it's a reflection of my specs. I'm just not enjoying it with the constant crashes. Will pick it back up once it's patched.

I had it once in my second run. The game started to glitching around day 14 then I got UE4 error. But after restarted the game, it seems like it's working without a problem.
