lack of builds ?
Game seems good, but I checked the ladder and it seems people only play the same build or something always very similar depending on your class.
I thought you had "infinite" possibilities, but it's gonna be meta builds each season I guess, 1-2 max meta build per class...

2) Currently we have limited ammount of builds viable since many heroes and alternative heroic versions are not released. For example, i want to make Sentry build, but there is no such hero with Sentry bonuses, so my build will be weak. As for MOTO class, he has only 2 minions to choose from - golems and spiders, both of which similar in power.

3) Some items that could make weak builds strong are yet to be crafted, since you need very specific corrosion on very specific item. For example, there is corrosion that turns ALL your crit and crit dmg into minion crit/dmg, which can double your dps.

4) Game is not even 2 weeks old, too early to talk about meta. Players who created super strong builds will try to hide and use those to farm late-game, instead of revealing build to everyone, creating unnecessary competition.

The ladder is for the lemmings that all have to use the same build that can't think outside of the box to do stuff. It's the people that have to play what someone else is doing. You can have a ton of different builds. Each skill can have multiple skills added to it to change what it is doing.

Of course there are going to be meta builds, and there are going to be bad builds.

There are a ton of build options. And the more options you make, the harder it is to balance.

Make whatever build you want, or stick with the meta builds. It's totally up to you.

you mix 3 skill trees with 2-3 unique heavy talents in each with 250+ legendary and multiple heroes.

There are tons of build options, but obviously people are going to gravitate towards something that is easy.

Well, you can do whatever build you want as others have said but the simple fact is that there are some really powerful items that support some builds and no such items for other builds which makes some builds more viable.

Ladder = Only Meta Builds = Game lacks build diversity....... LOL. That's a lame argument, every game has meta builds but that doesn't mean they lack in build diversity, play whatever you want dude.
