It's great when you gets some not-so-good skill and it needed to get rid of... now it's gone, what a shame.
They are fixing a bug where if you click/create a defense skill, but DON'T USE IT, and then next turn you cancel it, the skill doesn't come back. Which was very clearly a bug and not intentional. A skill should only be getting recycled/discarded if you actually use the defense.
You can still create and USE a defense in order to get rid of a bad bottom skill. So yes, you can still recycle bad bottom row skills using defense.
For a lot of characters using defence skills to cycle faster lets them run significantly smoother, so it's no surprise a lot of people would rather it stayed as it is
Why would people want to generate, and use, a defense skill to get a new attack when they could just use a "bad" attack skill and get a new attack?
this bug make the game feels better and less rng lucky based.
