About Ashrah
Instead of the usual pile of Barakka/Johny with Cyrax or Raiden, I have been running into a few Ashra's today.

I play Reiko and Shao and it seems whatever Ashra does, it's never my turn. Online she seems to keep you jailed/in blockstun and can recycle a string with the light(?) projectile/wave and start over again.

Shao has some range, but other than his kicks, Reiko's normals and strings are too stubby and I can't seem to interrupt or counterpoke her strings. Usually she seems to be plus on block, meaning I have to sit there and keep blocking and hope they do the overhead flip so I can punish.

Any tips from Ashra mains on how to deal with this pressure, or other players that have found a way around the seemingly non-stop pressure string?

My advice from the Ashrah side, based on what beats me:

The F2-to-projectile jailing keeps edging her closer to you, and the F2 is a High. I can abuse the hell out of it against some people, but others know how to wait for her to be in range of a D4 or something like that, then go under the F2 - or let her get even closer, and just neutral duck the F2 and open me up for a full combo.

I also suspect you could do a reversal with an armoured special or kameo after blocking the F2, but haven't seen this in practice yet.

Oh so there is a gap/space in there, based on the positioning.
I tried amour special, which did get me out, but with stubby Reiko, once I lose initiative I;m not getting it back. And since they all ran Scorpion for double air juggles, I need the bar to break as well.

Ashrah seems pretty strong to me, good normals and some really fast movement.

Yeah she's my main at the moment and I'm really enjoying it - she's definitely strong. But that F2-projectile sequence is kind of her only real *pressure* - like sure she's safe on basically everything else, but that's *all* she is, and once people realize it they are able to take their turn back almost any time.
