Looking for a max number on buildings.

So my plan this time is to play the super long game. I want to keep unrest to a bare minimum at all times collecting only max taxes from each settlement and only capturing the next one when unrest is at zero or as close to zero as possible.

Anyways to the point of my post. There will be a lot of down time between raids. What I figured might keep me occupied is building the base to the fullest size needed.

However I cant seem to find a bottom line anywhere. Does anyone know off hand how many of each building you need to build in order to have a full sized legion?

Good plan, you will be able to build in relative peace... Just look out for the odd convoy passing through.

There are no requirements on tent type, but rather a global man-cap that is summed up from all tents. The types just give the AI units correct places to navigate to in camp. So archers will go to archer tents, etc. Also note, officer tents provide 1 man cap and are where Centurions and above will congregate.

A good rule of thumb for Legionaries and Auxiliary infantry is 1 officer tent and 5 contubernium tents per Century group. That is your Centurion in the officer tent, the 4 NCOs in one tent, and 16 enlisted troops in the other 4 tents.
So if you duplicate this 1 officer + 5 cont. tent pattern you can build up all 9 Legionary infantry centuries and the 4 auxiliary infantry centuries very easily.

The Archers are similar but have more enlisted troops, so you need an extra 2 contubernium tents (an extra 8 enlisted troops) for each archer century.

As for the artillery crews, the math doesn't work out as nicely, since the Scorpion teams have 3 people and the ballistas have 5. Maybe a good way to do it is build 2 officer tents for the ballista engineers then 2 cont. tents for the rest of the ballista crews, followed by another 5 cont. tents for the Scorpion crews, although one of those tents will only be partially used.

Just remembered, you also need some space for the commanding officers. 8 officer tents should suffice! Keep in mind the Primus Pilus overrides a Centurion, so he already has accommodations. Just need spaces for your Camp prefect, aquilifer, imaginifer, Aux. prefect and flag bearer, Archer prefect and flag bearer, and the Engineering prefect.

Well that message seemed a lot shorter in my head... LOL

- 45 Legionary Contubernium Tents
- 20 Auxiliary Contubernium Tents
- 14 Archer Contubernium Tents
- 7 Engineers Contubernium Tents (entire Eng corp - Prefect)
- 23 Officers Tents
