There's probably gonna be a workshop at some point during or after full release. The game is going to have modding support.

Definitely! Right now our team is slammed working on the main game. But once it is finished we will focus on working with the modding community!

I adored this game the moment I tried the demo and I can't wait to mod this game to oblivion once there's workshop support for even more replayability. I can see this becoming one of the few games that I get into 4-digit numbers of hours of playtime.

Content....animations....some kind of story? A reason to carry some items around in general?

A reason to buy it over Slay the Spire? Some kind of Roguelike progression outside of "Haha you died start your build over"? Something more than just furries and the toxic fanbase surrounding that style?

"Little mouse against the odds proving everyone wrong" is your own headcannon. None of that is actually part of the story.

No, you're a mouse looking for "The ancient cheeses".

And you have a backpack that gets bigger the more things you kill.

If anything you're just mugging people in ruins, which is kind of like how the developer is more or less outright stealing the systems and effects and all of that from slay the spire with minimal changes, and reselling it to you for profit.

I was excited for this game because I adore roguelikes and games like slay the spire, but I expected there to be more to it than just "Press start, Joke intro, start playing."

I expected some sort of progression, some sort of reason to play rather than just following a straight line to the end of the game. But instead that's more or less what you get. No branching paths. No events. Just shopkeepers that constantly ask you for more gold than you've found in the entire run, and could have found even if you had sold everything you had on you every time you made it to a shop.

"But it's EA!" people will cry.

But they still charged you money to play it. EA doesn't matter when you're asking for an entry fee. You're subject to scrutiny of your product AS IS because you are selling it AS IS with the PROMISE to fix it later. A promise most developers do not keep.

It's not just early access, though, it's Kickstarter, which means they're kind of obligated to continue working on it until it's finished or they literally can't anymore, at the very least. And Jas is actually here, so that's already an improvement over the whole Mighty No. 9 debacle.

It's going to have all of that stuff, if you're willing to wait for it. If not, don't buy it in Early Access, or refund it if you already did, then forget about it and come back in a year.

I'm sold too...but on the flip side, some of the worst music in a PC game Ive ever experienced. My skin has turned blue from listening to it.

I have a friend that wanted to get this game for me because he's so cool. But it turns out we're 5 dollars short. @-@ Tomorrow is money day, which will also be mouse day for this game.
