Has, has this game just been up and abandoned?
I mean I understand that even during it's betas and alphas development was a bit few and far between from the devs, but as someone who genuinely loved this game what is happening? The last update was forever ago, features that were promised or planned haven't been carried out / mentioned unless I'm blind, Characters and game mechanics are buggy, the item pool is bloated making runs almost unbearable to grind for the items you would want to see in any particular build, and all of that is still excusable because the game is at least fun. But that fun is beginning to wear thin as the months drag on with zero anything from anyone.

no it wasn't abandoned, the games 1.0 came out, which outside of the world of AAA "games as a service" model means that it does not need any more updates, yes its got plenty of bug fixes from what I know, but saying its abandoned is like that the legend of zelda OoT was abandoned by Nintendo cause they haven't added and new content to it sense it came out

as for the finished game, I agree that yeah it isn't the best rougelike in the world, but honestly its not hard to get a W in this game even if you don't have 'god tier' rng, the secret is to not try and force a build, feel the seed out and find out what kinda of build it favors

Dawg, Nintendo released the complete game they made, the team behind this game still have like 30 unfinished KICKSTARTER promises that people PAID FOR TO BE IN THE GAME,

Comparing releasing OoT to releasing a Steam game that was kickstarted and just not finished is not a good comparison in the slightest. Also I never said the game was hard just that the item pool has become a level of bloated where targeting a certain playstyle is very difficult.

I very much disagree here. The switch version still doesn't have a working ENDING. Once you beat the final boss and try to interact with the NPC the game just softlocks, no ending, no credits, nothing. You have to force quit out of the game and then the game just pretends like the ending happened.
One of the town npcs that is supposed to include blessings into the game just doesn't spawn.
With the last update the game broke in other ways where once you place an item into your backpack you can no longer hover over items to see their effects and have to click them and show info to check stats or effects, making runs tedious.
This is NOT a finished game.
